  Looptastic Producer 3.1 Upgrade Adds AudioPaste

  Looptastic Producer now supports AudioPaste technology from Sonoma Wire Works. AudioPaste allows musicians to import original loops from compatible apps like DopplerPad, InstantDrummer, and Vox 3000 into the Looptastic mixing environment without leaving the iPhone. (Producer can also import loops over Wi-Fi from a computer; in fact, it was the first remixing app with that capability.)

   

  You can load up to 20 loops at once into Producer, even while the music plays, and warp them with touchpad-controlled effects and the new stutter strip. The app is always in record mode; performances can be saved and exported as 16-bit, 44.1kHz stereo AIFF files.

   

  Looptastic Producer costs $14.99 at the App Store; the 3.1 upgrade is free for current owners.
