Hello…...I have recently purchased both looptastic and studio hd and am experiencing a few issues

Firstly the last couple of projects I have started I have lost the option to copy/cut/Paste. When I press on a loop ?  pretty important I’m sure you agree

Also I am experiencing problems trying to record and keep pasting various effects as shown in the help video around the 1.54 Mark ?  I notice you press the record button at the top right….the one with the metronome…...when I do this on mine all it does is record any noise in the room ie the tv

It fails completely to pick up any loops that I would like to work on.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what I might be doing incorrect please ?

XDC: there are two ways to use effects.

1) just add a constant effect to the track: Record the track first.  pop out the effects drawer for your tracks. Then just drag the effect from the effects area to the effects bank for that track. You can set the effects with the track pad and use the Hold button to lock a spot.

2) effects automation: Follow the above steps except for the lock. Double tap the On/Off button for the current track to disable record. NONE of the tracks can be record enabled. Tap the effect bank fir the track and tap the effect you want to automate. Now tap the record button and drag your finger around the trackpad. Your moves will be recorded and effect the track when it plays back. You can air ate up to four effects per track and can record in various spots on the track.

I know this sounds complex, but it’s actually pretty simple once you get the hang.
